Sell Textbooks in Albuquerque — UNM & CNM Students

End of semester? Get more than campus buyback offers. We pay cash for textbooks — especially current STEM editions.

Better Than Campus Buyback

If you've sold textbooks back to the UNM or CNM bookstore, you know the drill: they offer you a fraction of what you paid, or nothing at all. National mail-in services like BooksRun require you to ship books and wait weeks for payment.

We're local, we're fast, and we pay cash on the spot. Call or text to schedule a drop-off — we can usually get you in within a day or two.

What Textbooks Are Worth

Not all textbooks are created equal. Here's what affects value:

  • STEM textbooks (engineering, computer science, medicine, nursing, biology, chemistry, physics) — highest demand, highest prices
  • Current editions — within 1-2 editions of current, strong value. Older editions drop quickly
  • Business and accounting — CPA prep materials, finance, management textbooks
  • Humanities — lower individual value, but anthologies and Norton editions hold up
  • Condition — clean, no highlighting preferred, but we'll buy highlighted copies too

How to Sell Your Textbooks

  1. Text us photos at 702-496-4214 — include the ISBN barcode on the back for an instant estimate
  2. Or drop off at our warehouse at 5445 Edith Blvd NE Unit A
  3. Get paid cash — on the spot, no waiting

Semester End Schedule

Textbook values peak right around finals week. The earlier you sell after the semester ends, the better your payout — before the next edition drops and yours loses value.

  • Fall semester: Sell in December
  • Spring semester: Sell in May
  • Summer session: Sell in August

Pro tip: Even if your textbook isn't worth much, don't throw it out. See our guide to selling textbooks from UNM and CNM. We'll take it — and anything we can't sell gets donated to the New Mexico Literacy Project.
